These days are an opportunity to discover non-conceptual Daoist cultivation through the use of the 4 traditional postures: sitting, walking, standing and lying.
We will be explore Dao Yin stretching to open the body to support presence of awareness and connection as well as entering into the Daoist practice of Tranquil Sitting. Shi Qiao will also give a talk to explain the intricacies of the Daoist view and practices. These light and informal days are a good way to become familiar with the British Daoist Associationís teachings.
The Gathering in Stillness days are held by Graeme / Shi Qiao, who is a 31st generation Dao Shi (ordained Daoist Priest). He has been cultivating the Dao since 1997 and was ordained in 2004 in China by Feng Xing Zhao. He has been cultivating with his friend and teacher Shi Jing since 1998 who has been the main influence on his Daoist view. Graeme / Shi Qiao is also a Chinese Medicine clinician and brings this perspective into the days.

The day will look something like this: arriving at 10am / Talk, Dao Yin & Jing Zou meditation until Lunch at around 1pm (food to share) / Walking practice followed by Jing Zou meditation / Questions & discussion. / Finish around 4:30.

No experience needed, all welcome.
